Quality Logging is owned and operated by the Simmons and Watts family. The Simmons family has been in the mudlogging business in West Texas since 1956 which makes us the oldest mudlogging service in town. We currently have 30 logging units active in the Permian Basin covering West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico. We are adding additional units and personnel as needed to meet changing demand.
We are a people-oriented company. We pride ourselves in our team of experienced loggers and support staff. Approximately 1/3 of our loggers are degreed geologists while others have some college training in geology. The loggers are managed by a team of Professional Geologists with more than 55 years experience in petroleum geology, well-site geology, mudlogging and formation evaluation.
